MAAD Pyjamas is an effort to bring the design and artistic community together with a creative showcase held one friday night of every month. It features thematic displays and original creative works put together by the local design & artistic community and is the only night exhibition that includes live music performances and a makeshift bar right inside the museum. Visitors can enjoy beer & nachos right inside the museum while enjoying live music performances, shopping from over 100 creative displays put together by Singapore’s design & artistic community with some 3,000 visiting the event. MAAD Pyjamas is endorsed by the Design Singapore Council.
MAAD, Market of Artists And Designers is an initiative started in 2006 with seed funding under the Creative Community Singapore program launched by the Ministry of Information, Community and the Arts, as a platform to nurture creativity and enterprise in the local community. MAAD has been an effective contact point to test-market the viability of the creative ideas of passionate and enterprising artists. The event is open to public and is currently sponsored, and managed by the red dot design museum.
GreenieGenie will be at MAAD pyjamas this Friday evening. For this event, we’ll be showcasing our recently launched collection “La Belle” by Loveco!
